1. Install from Shopify
Open the COD Scale public listing from your Shopify admin and approve the requested permissions. A verified new merchant receives provider SSO access automatically; no COD Scale password is required for the embedded first session.
2. Create or securely link the account
If this Shopify store was connected before, COD Scale reuses its verified binding. If the verified email already belongs to another COD Scale account, sign in at app.codscale.io and connect Shopify from Stores Hub; COD Scale never merges accounts from matching email alone.
3. Approve this store’s plan
- Select Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Diamond in the embedded billing step.
- Shopify owns approval, the 14-day trial, renewal, cancellation, and payment collection for this Shopify store.
- Until Shopify confirms the subscription, the store remains visible but operational writes stay read-only.
4. Verify and start selling
Complete the activation checklist and submit a test order. Products, orders, checkout events, tracking, OMS, and finance remain isolated to this store and are enabled according to this store’s approved plan.
Running Shopify next to other stores
All stores share one account and Stores Hub, but every connected store chooses and pays for its own plan. Cancelling one store does not suspend another store.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to upload any files to Shopify?
No. Connecting Shopify is a guided OAuth install: you authorize the COD Scale app from your dashboard, and the access token is stored encrypted on the platform. There are no plugin files and no credentials to copy around.
Can I run Shopify and WooCommerce together?
Yes — that is what the multi-store hub is for. Each store gets its own isolated workspace under one command center, and staff can be shared or assigned per store.
Does every store share one subscription?
No. Your account and Stores Hub are shared, but every connected store has its own plan and billing lifecycle. Shopify bills this Shopify store through Shopify App Pricing.
