Multi-store hub, workspaces, and isolation

How the Stores Hub, per-store workspaces, country workspaces, and workspace modes (shared staff vs everything per store) keep every store isolated without losing the single view.

Hub view vs store workspace

The Stores Hub aggregates health, orders, cash, and finance across all your stores. Entering a store pins a workspace: from that moment, orders, shipments, call queues, tracking events, sheets, and finance facts are scoped to that store only.

Cross-store requests are rejected with a clear message — a page locked to Store A tells you so and points you back to the hub to switch.

Data isolation guarantees

  • Every operational record carries its store; workspace queries filter on it at the database level.
  • Opening another store’s order id inside a workspace returns not-found — no leakage between stores.
  • API keys are bound to one store: a key for Store A cannot create or read Store B data.
  • Customer fraud history is deliberately merchant-wide so repeat offenders are visible across your stores.

Workspace modes: shared staff or everything per store

Orders and operational data are always per-store. The workspace mode only decides how staff and routing configuration are shared:

  • Shared staff (default) — one team and one routing setup across every store. Agents work orders from all stores.
  • Everything per store — agents assigned to a store appear only there (unassigned agents still serve all stores), and routing settings saved inside a store override the shared values for that store only.
  • Switching modes is non-destructive in both directions: each mode keeps its own configuration namespace.

Country workspaces

Each store carries its country, currency, locale, phone prefix, and timezone. These drive the checkout’s address fields (wilaya/commune/postal code for Algeria), phone validation, shipping-rate context, and how finance normalizes amounts. Multi-country operations run naturally as one store per country.

Managing it from the hub

The “Workstation & Modes” page in the Stores Hub holds the workspace-mode toggle and per-agent store assignment, weight, and daily limit — one place to shape how your team maps onto your stores.

Frequently asked questions

Is store isolation available on every plan?

Yes — the Stores Hub and per-store workspace isolation are part of the platform core on every plan. The Workstation & Modes page (per-agent store assignment, weights, daily limits) belongs to the shop workstation, from Gold.

Can my agents work orders from all my stores?

In shared-staff mode (the default), yes — one team serves every store. In per-store mode, agents pinned to a store only see that store, while unpinned agents keep serving everyone.

Can I run stores in different countries?

Yes. Each store carries its country, currency, locale, and phone prefix, and finance normalizes amounts to DZD through exchange rates — so one hub can aggregate stores across countries honestly.
